MAGIK Creative / Magik Studios

Bring us the script. We will make the film.

Our own Nollywood titles, and full production for yours.

On a film set at dusk, an actor in a red head wrap and embroidered robe stands in profile while a camera operator in the foreground films her; crew wait by a thatched set behind.

What we make

A production arm, not a hired crew.

  • Our own titles
  • Client films and series
  • Brand content

How it comes together

  1. Pre-productionScript breakdown, scheduling, locations and the shot plan.
  2. CastingFinding and auditioning the cast the script needs.
  3. ProductionOur crew on set for the shoot, however many days it takes.
  4. PostEdit, sound and grade, in the formats you release in.
What you get
  • The locked final cut: edited, mixed and graded.
  • Master files for cinema, broadcast, streaming or online.
  • Platform versions, and a subtitle file where the release needs one.
  • A trailer and short cutdowns, where they are in scope.
  • Stills from the shoot for posters, press and social.
  • The production paperwork: agreements, permissions and licences.
What shapes the quote

Travel and night shoots
Accommodation, logistics and longer paid hours.
Post-production
From a clean edit to score, effects and a full grade.
Music and archive rights
Licensed separately, and priced by where the film plays.

Questions
What do you need before a shoot?
A script or a treatment, the budget and the release date. Anything already fixed helps: a cast member you have committed to, a location you own, a brand that must appear. An adapted story needs its rights cleared before production.
How long does a production take?
The shoot is usually the shortest part. Pre-production and post usually take longer, and a feature runs longer than a brand film. You get a schedule with dates on it before anything is committed.
Who owns the finished film?
That is settled in writing before the first shooting day. On a commissioned film, the finished work normally belongs to whoever paid for it. Music, archive footage and stock elements carry their own licences.
What do I need before release?
Films shown or distributed in Nigeria are classified by the National Film and Video Censors Board, on its own timeline, so start early. Each platform has its own delivery specification: tell us where the film is going.
